Our promise if we ever close- How can you afford to never expire?
- Every time someone scans, our computer looks up where to send them. That costs us a tiny fraction of a cent. A subscription only works if the code stops when you stop paying. Ours doesn't need to, so we charge once and keep our costs tiny.
- What if you shut down?
- Your codes keep working for at least a year after we announce it, we email you everything you need to keep them going, and you can download a plain copy of any code today. The full promise, in writing.
- Can a free code really never expire?
- Yes. A free code is just your link, turned into a picture. There is nothing behind it that could ever switch off.
- What's the difference between a free code and an editable one?
- A free code is like a printed phone number: once it's on paper it can only ever go to that one place. An editable code is like a forwarding number: the printed code stays the same, but you can change where it sends people whenever you like.
- Do people need an app to scan?
- No. Almost every modern phone camera reads QR codes on its own.
